Yea but it isn't so easy. You will need headend gear and a line to an internet platform. Fiber or ethernet. Then as Joe said a CMTS to receive and transmit data and then combine it with the out going signals. You will need diplexers if you don't have any and splitters to separate your return. You will need to break up your system into smaller areas so you don't have thousands of people trying to share the same line. Like fiber nodes. You have a lot of work coming but the return is usually worth it. That is just a small overview...there is more to it.
