I wasnt specifically commenting on this case as I am not familiar with the facts first hand. I guess I am pointing out a deterrence ideal. The problem is deeper than this incident. If they understood (emphasis on understood) the law they would think twice. I personally would not back shoot someone for crossing my property but then again I dont live in a border state with constant illegal alien activity. I know things can happen real fast and I support the one sided story theory, my side. Do I feel bad these guys are gone? No. Would I have handled it different? I cant say. I dont live with a constant fear of people invading my space, that may come again and try to finish what they got away with the first time. Like I said, I don't know all the facts but I do think that others will think better of crossing that line at that guys address.
