I see from the press reports that Jeremy Mayfield tested positive for methamphetamine, again, and his step-mother gave a signed affidavit of his drug abuse. He was allegedly booted by Evernham racing for his meth use. The thing is, they say that the junk is highly addictive and that unless you seek treatment there is no way to get off the stuff. I believe that if he would have admitted to them that he had a problem and needed help that the Nascar community would have rallied around him. But instead he tries to deny that he has an "ADDICTION".
