I saw one try to grab a king salmon out of the water once. Its size was distorted because of the water. The eagle grabbed and tried to fly but that salmon had other ideas. He started fighting back as only a fish can and that eagle did everything it could to get out of the water and darn near drowned. He was flapping those big wings for all it was worth. He got out and made his/her way into a tree and rested.....I had to wonder what he/she was thinking about now. Probably a male.....only males try to bite off more than they can chew.
