I will agree with you that your private life is yours and yours alone. But once anyone of us gets into a position of leadership in the government or anywhere for that matter, you have a moral responsibility to be straight as an arrow, even if your actions didn't break any laws. Otherwise, where do you get the guts to pass laws or preach about morality and doing the right thing etc to anyone else. I believe Sanford should step down. I also believe Clinton should have been removed from office too. Yeah he got a bj and that is great for him, but he did it in the oval office which disrespects the office he held and then lied about it which is a crime. Leaders want to punish those who don't follow the rules or make them look bad, they need to go get a mirror.
