Cable company might be worried about ingress/leakage. Most cable companies have a sniffer or other leakage equipment connected in their head ends on the downstream side. Not sure what frq's your diplexers cut at. Normally catv is 5-50 and 50-550&up depending on the system. If the dish lnb cable is loose might, again might cause some noise/leakage on the catv side depending on what frq's your diplexers are.
