I don't agree with all of what you lay out, but I would be far more willing to accept this as is than anything coming out of DC right now. And you are exactly right about the pols, they are their own first priority and their pocketbook is a close second. You cant trust anything they say, and most of what they do is smoke and mirrors to cover something else they don't want you to see.
