Absolutly correct. These people are by no means stupid, non of this was left to chance. They brought up heath care to give the media something to be talking about except cap and tax to give themselves some cover. They then try to tell us that there will be credits for lower income tax people, they are bribing us with our own money. They then try to feed us a line saying only businesses will have to pay for this tax knowing full right well that businesses will pass this tax through to consumers. Because Obama pushed the EPA to declare carbon dioxide a dangerous pollutant, business is scared to death, if congress doesn't pass a law, the EPA can just set and enforce a set of rules all by itself. This is all part of the progressive movements palybook.
And all of this is based on a premise that has its doubters growing every day. The results that scientists working independant of the government are getting don't match the offical NASA climate model by a long shot. There is evidence of tampering and selective data modifications to make the model say what the guy who invented the internet is spouting off. Why would they do it, greed and money. Follow the trail off money that backs the people saying the earth is going to melt, it is the same list of people who build CFL's wind mills solar panel etc. They invested heavily in this stuff to be at the market forefront and now want to cash out on their investment. Kill coal and you have to by their technologies. ( and notice it is not the evil conservatives passing this law to pay off their rich ceo friends, so much for the theory that only republicans bend over for big business)
And still have not seen where this money is going to be spent and who will decide it either. And I don't find it to be a coincidence that Obama is talking major expansions of government and is trying to pass a major stealth tax increase. This to me is just like the tobacco settlement, do you really think RJR Nabisco only raised the price of cigarettes to cover the payments to the states? No they added a nickel or a dime to every single item they make to spread out the cost and not make cigarettes too expensive. So everyone but the tobacco comapnies paid for that settlement, to them it is just a cost to pass on, and government found a way to pass giant tax increases that the people stood up and cheered for. Never underestimate a politicans lust for power or money, they have already sold their soul to get to DC and now they are after ours.
