Few years back, was lashing up some fiber, when one of my linemen (Captain Chaos) had to change out the lashing wire. With one motion, rips out the old coil of wire and comes in contact with the power line above him. 14,500 kv, the coil of wire in his hand, acted like a fuse, after burning in half it broke his contact with power. He then fell 25' down the pole and was unconscious. Sent the grunt to go find a land line and call 911,(no cell service)while we started cpr. "To make long story short" he spent a week in ICU, burnt both arms pretty bad and across his chest, but, still alive. He was back in action a month later. Glad that your still around Captain!!!!!
