You have got to be kidding. The illegal problem is huge in this business. The MSO's put in 'safeguards' to keep them safe from ICE, like requiring background checks and then telling the contractor to sign a peice of paper saying they promise that they will verify ID's. It is a joke. Primes are using info form past contractors, or they will hire 1 legal mexican, pay under his name, and he pays all of the 10 other illegals holding money to pay the taxes. It is a joke and everyone knows it. Walk into most contracotrs on the Fios project and you will be lucky to find 50% of the laborers are legal with all their docs, but  Verizon wants the project done so they get a signed promise and look the other way.
