Since the government knows that most gun crimes are by criminals they know that taking our guns is only to control us. To stop us from being able to fight when they take all of our freedoms.
So only criminals will have them and we will be sheep to the lions. They don't care. They live in gated communities with armed guards. They get fast police response time and they also own guns. But the people aren't suppose to.
Even though millions and millions of US citizens who have guns don't commit crimes with them they will try for more and more control. Our wonderful government knows that. But Reid and pelosi and obama will take all of that freedom away under the guise of caring sooo much with the now and then accident story or more frequent crime, that turn tragic by the very people who will not follow the law and will still commit the same crimes. So in 'helping' us poor people from the criminals, they will take our guns or make it so hard to keep them that we will be the criminals when protecting ourselves they get our guns and more control. Guns don't kill a civil society.....criminals do and they will still own them.
