Re: What is the best city to be homeless in?

Cebu in the Philippines, temp never gets below 78, ocean and beach beautiful, lots of fish to catch, average income is about $6000.00 so if you can get SSI or Welfare you can live just like the locals or probably better. Have it direct deposited into your bank account, your ATM card will work at their banks, Beer is about $1.25 a bottle at the bar and $2.50 a six-pack from the store smokes are about $1.75 a pack. If you need transportation a trike is about 3 to 4 dollars for a ride up to 10 miles and a jeepney is $.50 The government and police are corrupt but don’t try to hide it so you know exactly who to pay off to insure you stay out of trouble, and there are thousands of fine LBFM’s to help you pass the day or night away. Just stay out of alleys, card games with locals, girls under 18. Don’t carry a wallet, use a neck pouch, only keep about $20.00 in your pocket and keep the rest of your day money in your pouch, use or develop your street smarts and stay out of Mindanao and the other southern/ Muslim provinces the anti government forces there don’t care much for Christians, Americans and most other foreigners. Oh yeah you will have to put up with an occasional typhoon. But other than the above few negatives it is a great place to be homeless in.
If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking.
