Re: what if?

I too went to Catholic school, and as I grew older, and sought the truth, discovered that Catholicism has a whole lot of man made, non-scriptual traditions, much like the Pharisees, and doctrine that is not Biblical. I can not judge your heart, but from your posts it would seem that your heart is hardened for one reason or another, and you would reject the truth even if it was right in front of your eyes. It took me many years to discover the truth, because I didn't seek it. I made non-educated decisions on matters that needed to be researched, and when I truly did just that, my eyes were opened and I was set free. Not only has He opened my eyes, but He has filled my soul. Brother, if you seriously want answers to your questions, you need to take the time to research them. First off, you can find God in His word, the Holy Bible, but I'd say you may not hold much credibility in the Bible, figuring it was written by man, so you need to start with something that will open your eyes to the fact that the Bible is the inspired word of God. Try a CD, by Hugh Ross, called, "Reasons To Believe" then go to your local video store and rent,"The Case For Christ" by Lee Stroble. That will make you hungry for more and you will discover there is ample material out there that will educate you and open the eyes of your heart. God will open that door, then it is up to you to accept Him or reject Him. It is my prayer that you will make the most important decision of your life and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. Believe me, if God can save a wretch like me, He can save you as well. I have done things in my life that I thought God would never forgive, but found that to be nothing but a deception of the devil, and trust me, when satan sees you trying to truly discover God, he is going to throw everything in his arsenal at you to deceive you. Keep an open mind throughout the journey. Take care and God bless.
