More Urgent Stimulus Spending

What does $6 million of your taxpayer money, via the stimulus, buy you? Congratulations America, you are the proud new owners of -- a turtle tunnel! That's right, in Florida there is a road kill problem on one particular stretch of road -- mostly turtles are getting hit. So in order to save them, we need a tunnel! Skeptics of course will question 'how do you know this is going to work?' to which the answer will be a referral to the toad tunnel California built in the 90's. How'd that work out for the toads? Not good. How will it work out for the turtles?
