Re: An Open Letter to our Nation's Leadership

Glenn did not write this it was ent to him. And you are still stuck on a party aren't you. And we do not need a new layer of government. Just repeal the law that kept banks from being brokerage houses. But that will mean Obama has to stop interfering. Obama has forced Bank of America to merge with Merill Lynch and allowing Lehman and others to become banks. Banks should not be using depositors money to invest in the market and then the government through FDIC insures the depositors. It is a great big circle that only the taxpayers have risk.

Bush has fault in this and so does Clinton and congress has blood on its hands too. You don't want to hear this but congress wrote every law that the banks and brokers used to start this mess. And again I showed you the bill that Clinton signed in 1999 that started sub prime for real. That is fact and will not go away.

So I again ask you Gwester, why should anyone give congress or a president blind trust and a blank check? Why do they not have to feel the need to justify there actions to us? They work for us, they are not royalty. Why do we not have the right to demand open honest debate on such large, sweeping problems? If they have nothing to hide, why are they hiding?

Can we hope to see real change anytime soon?
