Yes much of that is true but Bush didn't spend without congress. We had a republican congress with a republican president spending like Dems usually do. What the hell? They are suppose to be CONSERVATIVE. But they went on a rampage and now the politicians are still spending with no "value" as you said. This all started many years ago and was too small for anyone to see coming. Clinton did no good with NAFTA and the housing mortgage crisis is well known and documented as to who created that fiasco. And you pointed out people are still spending and prices are going up. How? If the economy is bad then prices go down. My friend in San Diego who has a fire sprinkler company says the steel companies are raising their prices. How does that happen in a bad economy? So are we on our way up or on our way down? Did the market and the people fix it? Or did the government. I don't believe the government did it but I do believe they caused it.
