the reason i posted is i was wondering if it was software since the problem manifest on the first 1000.2 i installed since updating it. I know for a fact that applied will support their product. when i ordered a replacement battery they contacted me and recomended i send it in for a check up. they loaned me a replacement while they had mine in the shop. and got mine back to me in 2 weeks. i never lost a day of work. I expect the same treatment this time around, but i'll let you know how it goes.
