Just un-install it and go back to IE7 on Vista go to the control panel, then programs & features, click and look at top left window and click
show installed updates. click IE8 and un-install... after promps and all the rest nag screens yes to everything
then after Exploere restart it will ask if you want to install IE7 yes.. finished
