.10 a ft ...GI...Cali..1500.00 a day min.  of course i was barely a splicer then...still couldn't grow hair on my shins from hookin'   poles as i was a greenhorn..just a "lineman" back then and the "Engineers" needed hooks...long story...didn't start 'til 79'
