When you speak of Roosevelt it is not FDR , but Teddy. The progressive movement goes that far back. FDR took it to new heights. He stacked the supreme court so he could get his way and we have been fighting an up hill battle since.
And lets be honest, the media had a big influence on McCain being the nominee. And then they flipped 180 and did all they could him down. Politics dirty as ever.
