How do you get there. Were there no democrats in office the last 8 years. Filibusters could have been started if plans were so bad and the last 2 years were democrat controlled congress and they did nothing. They all suck. They all know how to run their lips but forget what they said when it comes time to vote and put their name on it. Spineless limp wristed two faced bastards, all of them.
And yes it took years to create about 18 to be exact, Clinton signed in NAFTA, Barney Frank is the one who pushed to make more loans to lower income people and was sleeping with the person who ran Fannie Mae. Bush signed in prescription drugs which is a boondoogle. Where were the bills introducing new regulations on banks the last 2 years of Bush's term that he vetoed. They dont exist because they were complicit too. They all spend too much, why do we let them? Why when we are in such terrible shape is Obama trying to stuff in health care?
Everyone wants to say Obama inherited Bushes mess, but no one wants to remember ( or admit ) the economy was in decline the last year of Clintons administration, which Bush inherited. The 9/11 happened. Then everyone wanted to blame Bush for not stopping Bin Laden. But the amnesia happens again and no one remembers that Bin Laden was offered to Clinton twice on a silver platter. Politics and politicians are going to destroy this country, democrats and republicans alike, if we don't start laying down the law on congress and the state legislatures. This is our country, not theirs.
So please spare me the party line complaints, act like an American, not some party hack.
