No lineman don't make thousands a week, maybe 1-2 grand a week on a good week running fiber, they usally do a percentage on the crew with the foreman getting the most then lead , then lineman then grunt. On a good week a foreman can do pretty well but those days are long gone. What your probably looking at now is a maintainance contract, which doesn't pay well.
