Re: Fts???

They are a typical large contractor in todays world. They slash and burn the pricing matrix to get the contract for a region. Then they adjust the prices that they pay the people who actually do the work, but its funny, what they make per code never changes. They cut the rates but they make the same or more. Also don't forget, FTS was purchased by Unitek USA and since that has happened, Unitek and FTS now have a federal wage and hour class action lawsuit pending against them for not paying overtime. They were demanding things to be done but did not include the hours to do the tasks in wage calculations. FTS is trying to get right up there with Mastec with the attitude of slash and burn to take over the entire market, they will make what they want and give what is left over to the contractor and what are they going to do, we have all of the work. Cable TV is a mess right now and some of the people at the top of Unitek were some of the same people who gave us the concept of the 'national' contractor.
