ill tell you a little trick i learned while i was working for sbc in the late 90s, put a barrel connector in a cordless drill , get the connector just started on the coax, and spin the connector on like butter!!!!  pretty slick a. works great on those old sterlings and just about any connector., especial if your trying to get a snall connector on a quad cable. even works on 59 connectors if your in a pinch!!
