Seems like those votes only matter in swing states. I didn't vote in Texas because I knew Obama would not take it. My vote would not have mattered. With the technology today, the electoral college is a joke and lets politicans tramp around 5 or 6 states to change their minds and damn near forget the rest. Didn't really like McCain anyway. Choosing the lesser of two evils to become the most powerful man in the world isn't what the founding fathers had in mind, I believe; but that is a whole different topic.
