You are correct, I guess reading the statement can be taken in a different meaning. So I will explain, being out of the industry for while I had to renew my license and it was not fun, back to back classed of updated code classes and then to be told it was not enough and opted to retest and I past, I faced the board members and explained the hoops I had to jump in order to become a legal worker in this state. They explained they will act upon any violation of this law and I explained about best buy and CC installing tv with out licensed techs and cable subcontractors installing voip without telco lic. They responded by telling me it is a felony and will act upon any report that comes into the office.
