I am trying to get on with the oilfield companies up here in Alaska. Cable is going down and I am not fond of being treated less than human for going away from my home and family to do the work the cable system can't do. As though somehow I am not a man is how all cable companies treat their subs. And we somehow don't deserve to be paid for doing extremely technical work most of their people don't know anything about while leaving our families and lives at home. I am sick of the mentality that we get from inhouse people. Not all but definitely most. Yes their are some in our part of it that suck but most of us do a good job and sacrifice so much to do it. So I am with you....time to do something else.
