OK this is what i found, After replacing the parts, and checking all wires and conn, calling all my DTV tech gods, I decided to give register a call, recently i have been getting people on the phone that seem to know the system. just so happened that on this call it was a tech, I explained to him what has happening and he said something is lying, I said what do u mean, he said if u r not getting a signal on the first 21 transponders, then u r not looking at the 101, he said infact u r probaly 18 degrees too far to the right. I said ok, so i put a KAKU 3 on the dish, and sure enough, it picked up the signal about a 1/4 turn to the left of the other spot i was in. peaked and dithered, reinstalled the swm3, and all was well. infact had high 90's on all 3 sats. I have done a ton of swm3's and have never experienced this, i did have my elevation in the mid 30's but thts not abnormal, so there u have it, hope this will help someone out.
My question is my Birdog going bad or what sat was i looking at????????
