Audio Visual installs

Does any one know where I can find info on Ausio visual installs. "The cx needs a 42" tv mounted w/cable ran through and behind wall, possibly a wall plate set up for VGA to be connected from the computer." Sounds basically like they want to hook computers to flat screens for meetings. Sounds pretty easy as well. Never Done any Vga wall plates. If computer is a good distance from tv how do you run a VGA cable that far for a wall plate behind the tv. Are any of these wall plates Ethernet to VGA or Coax to VGA, etc? Or does it have to be straight VGA from computer to tv? Can anyone give me a site to see the basic process of operating this setup and installing it as well? You are greatly appreciated in advance.
