HEADEND, and Outside Plant PROJECT MANAGERS needed!

We are currently looking for talented Headend and Outside Plant Project Managers for multiple locations overseas.

Reporting to the Director of Project Management, these positions simultaneously manage construction projects and related contractors, engineers and technicians, while working joint vendor installation projects.
Will serve as the staff expert on equipment installation techniques and technologies. These positions will require considerable customer interface. In addition, the position requires interfacing with sub-contractors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be required.
Travel is extensive.

Responsible for the day-to-day activities of their Integration Services projects or Outside Plant projects. Responsible for the daily management of the four main goals of every project: schedule attainment, budget attainment, quality of work, and customer satisfaction. This includes resource management, materials management, and customer management. Required to maintain and report status of project deliverables and metrics. Responsible for the financial, applicable technology, and schedule performance of assigned projects within cost limitations and established standards. May coordinate proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, estimation of product service costs, negotiation and administration of contracts. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to project master plans and schedules. Develops control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identifies potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and ensures the meeting of company’s contract commitments.

Skills Required:
1. Sub-Contractor management skills.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication.
3. Understanding of headend and hub architectures and
requirements or understanding of outside plant fiber/hfc construction and sweep.
4. Understanding of basic accounting principals.
5. User knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Project, and Office.

Skills Desired:
1. Working knowledge of cable telephony and cable modem
technologies.
2. Working knowledge of UL, FCC, and international regulations.
3. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Project, and Office.
4. Prior international experience is a strong plus.

Education: Bachelors strongly preferred, Masters a plus.
