My 2 Cents....... every tom dick and harry claim to splice fiber. Dont take a genious to hit a button. If I had known then what I know now maybe college wasnt a bad idea... Had a friend of mine ask me to put together a "cost to start fiber splicing" list for them. Tools machine otdr . 23,000+ then told him he would be lucky to get that in a year. Maybe Im in the wrong part of the country but prices on the east coast aren't worth it. Unless you are one of the Tom Dick or Harrys that can go buy a machine and know how to hit the button. And can afford the 5-8 bucks everyone seems to want to pay.
Actually did land a semi-decent dig. 18 a burn with 100 set up only down side its only slated to last 4 months. Hell im drunk and bitchin. If you got it Go For It.
