What difference does that make? The CONGRESS writes the laws. The president can't spend a dime without congress first writing and passing the under lying bill to do so. And Lieberman was in that congress so on everything except the war, the dems had a 52-48 senate advantage and 225-210 in the house. Dems could have stopped any spending they wanted when they wanted. But that is not in their nature. Everyone wants to put it all on Bush, but congress is in this up to their elbows. The president enacts laws that congress passes and enforces them. If congress doesn't pass the laws that allow the sillyness, there is no enforcement of sillyness.

That is why I have been howling to vote them all out here for awhile. Show me one, other than a very select few, who have done anything worth keeping their sorry ass in congress. Even the ones I like, I am willing to see them go to restore common sense in government.
