TECHNICIAN I

Must have DOD Secret or Top Secret, full ISSA/TS preferred. Installs, terminates, and tests CAT 5 copper cables in support of a classified customer’s system.
A HS diploma or equivalent with technical school training in the wire communications field and a minimum of one year hands-on experience in Cat-5 installation.
TECHNICIAN II

Must have DOD Secret or Top Secret, full ISSA/TS preferred. Installs, terminates, and tests CAT 5 copper cables in support of a classified customer’s system.
A HS diploma or equivalent with technical school training in the wire communications field and a minimum of two years hands-on experience in Cat-5 installation.
TECHNICIAN III

Must have DOD Secret or Top Secret, full ISSA/TS preferred. Installs, terminates, and tests CAT 5 copper cables in support of a classified customer’s system. Candidates shall be fully responsible to see that all work assigned by BSSI is performed in a quality manner. The incumbent shall provide the designated BSSI or Government Building Manager with a progress report at the end of each shift.
A HS diploma or equivalent with technical school training in the wire communications field and a minimum of three years hands-on experience in Cat-5 installation. In addition, the incumbents must have a minimum of six months experience in supervising installation technicians and must be capable of providing instructions and directions to other crew members.
