Re: Cable splicing?

Anyone can splice cable... only a few can do it right. Theres SO much crap to know to get it all down and leave a good product when you are done. A million different situations that you have to account for and that you are responsible for. Imagine last man out theory but affecting a thousand or more customers a day. There is not a book made on the subject because its impossible to cover every situation. I have made 14 grand in 7 days and lost 10 grand in a couple weeks.... not to mention how many MORE shady contractors it seems there are in the construction aspect of CATV than installs or satellite. The money used to keep me in it but it just isnt there these days, I feel the profit is gone in the industry if you ask my opinion. I am a proficient splicer with 12 years of experience and contacts and no work - I want to start DirecTV, need I say more?
