Through my studies I have come to the conclusion that it is the purest translation from the original Sacred Tongues that is available to us. I do not believe in adding to, or changing God's word, which is what every other translation I have looked at does. The book of Revelations warns of adding to, deleting, or changing God's word. This translation was painstakingly compiled by many learned men, who came to agree on each and every word printed, so as not to be the work of just one man's understanding of the original tongues and their usage. Some words had many meanings, so they had to decide how that word was being used in a given text. Sometime, when you get a chance, read the preface that is in most printings of the KJV.
