The big NO NO they are committing is the time schedule. That by itself constitutes employment status.

When I was in business and tried to follow the required time frames set forth by my suppliers and enforcing it upon my installers, I was fined out the wazzoo by the state and made to pay for every infraction.

As a sub, the company can not even go as far as setting your appointment time or date, thats a subs job. As it was enforced upon me, a sub contractor is to be given the work to do with the only regulations being that it is done within the specifications of the installation requirements. If signage is required to be carried on the subs vehicle, it MUST say "contracting for...." or "Authorized Contractor for..."

Being forced to carry a specified company logo on a non company owned vehicle is also illegal in many states. Check your state statute.
