Thats why I got out the business so long ago. I took pride in my work and made sure it was better than anyone else could do it. My attitude with installs was "the only thing I ever want said about my installs if another technician ever comes behind me on my work is Damn, this is a good job". I would only do 2 installs a day so I could make sure enough time and attention was given to the install...granted we were paid more then for installs than you all are now.
Companies dont care any more about quality, all they want is quantity and numbers to look good so they look good to their superiors.
Now a days, its throw it in and make it work, heck with quality.
