Like anywhere else. If you are a cable contractor you rights are as follows, You have the right to shut up and take all the abuse the M.S.O wants to give you. You have the right to have all of your techs back charged for the stupidist crap , you have the right to go F yourself, and you have the right to do nothing about it. If you have any experience in this buisness then you know that we are the red headed step children and we are abused. The MSO's only concerns are there pay checks and they do not care that you are the one who goes to these address's everday to make sure that they get a paycheck. The MSO's employees do not produce any income for the cable companies and they only work to make our jobs harder and pay less year for year. Even though they do not produce any income and we are the first link to there pay check you will always be run over , over worked and underpaid. Every chance they get to screw you deeper and make you poorer they will and there is nothing you can do about it because they have enough money to keep you tied up in court and make it not worth while for you to persue your rights. Thats why everyones going to fulltime employees and the subcontract work is dying. Nobody in this buisness has the balls to stand up for there rights, you will find out that if you are one who does , you will be all alone and no one will be there when you have to eat dirt.
