I don't know I have done some side installs for DTV, but never ran any service so I couldn't say, it DTV is more reliable.
But I would believe it.
In my experience Dish is very dependent on the quality of the install, where as I have seen some pretty jacked up DTV systems that were working fine.
But all legacy equipment seemed to be more reliable.
And seriously it is not as if you could rewire a prewired two story house, anyway and you know the building contractor didnt buy anything but the cheapest cable he could find.
I dont think the whole issue of whitch system is better matters too much at this point as it seems to simply be a matter of time before the two either merge or buy one anouther out.
