nate ,your replies never make any sense!!! a good project manager surrounds himself with quality people so that he does not have to attain all the skills. if you have good aerial,under ground and splicing supervisors who have common sense and good communication skills and a good admin person you can delegate more of your time with the customer so you can remind them of how good they are screwin ya and ya dont know how the hell you will ever make payroll on the worst prices in ten years !!!!! nuff said ! before i would take that 31 grand a year i would check to see if unemployment in your state pays more.
