Isn't that the truth. The economy has had really bad times before and always righted itself with MODERATE gov't intervention. Why they thought it would be any different this time, I dont know. With all of the monopoly money they put in the system, it opens a whole new can of worms that even the free market cannot fix. It is going to be interesting, to say the least, how they intend to not have inflation and/or tax increases in the near future.
