Re: "Pipe Dreams"

The fair tax may not be law now, but the income tax wasn't even constituional until 1913.  I have written to my legislators asking them for their positions. I am doing what I can to prod action for the lot of them. I prefer the fair tax, would settle for the flat tax, but the current system needs to go.

As far as being spoiled, no, we all have our opinions and our country allows for us to have have input on our laws. But I agree with George Washington, the 2 party system is a bad idea. It should be more open, more new blood. Here in Pa the Philadelphia dem party leader just smacked down some ward leaders in public because they did not follow his nominee selections in lock step. He did not release some party funding to them. That is not democracy. And I am not picking on the dems alone, this strory happened to make the news today. Coutry before party.
