Its exacltly the same way with cable...if your a contractor you are required to bring everything up to spec and work using the last tech out policy, Unfortunalty the cable companies arent concerned with the amount of work you have to put into it and they dont care if you are paid for what you do. They are always very quick to take, take, take and give nothing but more work and headaches to you on a regular basis. In the past 3 years I have seen the prices drop significantly and the work load to complete each job go up exponentially. The cable companies are self serving multi media comapnies and they do not care that the only reason for there pay check is our sweat, blood and tears. They also do not care about your family and if little timmy gets to see his daddy this week or not. Just make them there money and shut up.
