If your going to use them every day don't cheapout on a good pair of boots.Get yourself some Wescos or Redwings. I got my Wescos in 89 and still have them. Put saddle or mink-oil on them 2 or 3 times a year and had new soles put on them twice but they are the only climbing boots I ever needed and I'm sure they saved my back, hips, and knees some beating...although after 20 + years of this I do creek a bit in the mornings until I loosen up.
