Somebody else tried that recently. Who was it? Oh yeah, it was the Soviet Union. That worked out great for everyone didn't it? If the government keeps taking the reward out of hard work,risk and sacrifice no one will work hard, take risks or sacrifice. Those of you who say tax the rich and give it to me because it is unfair for someone to have more than me, be careful of what you wish. Most, not all, of the wealthyest people worked hard had a good idea,invention or business model and the took the risk and sacrificed to build their company, and now some of you want the government to take it away from them because, why exactly?
