i always owe about 5 to 10 thousand , depending on how much money i net after expense. that self employment tax is what gets you. instead of your employer paying half your s.s. , medicare and other you gotta pay it all. this is where the company makes out on this type of setup. unless your using your own tools , truck , and ins. with double the inhouse price ,i would not do this . if your using the companys , a setup is what it is.you won't have any real expenses to write off and get stuck paying all the taxes . i've never got any money back,but i'd like to know how this is done. i usualy gross a 150 thou . net 75 and have five dependants.
