You know you have been in Cable too long when every time you are driving you have one eye on the road and one eye one the cable plant.
You have been asked to help at least 80% of your relatives and friends run extra outlets.
You have 3 or more 3lbs coffee cans at home filled with fittings, f81’s, flat washers, bug nuts, weaver clamps, etc.
You can knock a bird, squirrel or any other animal out of a tree with a headache ball on a rope.
You have driven home and your wife tells you to take your gaffs off.
You have had sex at least once wearing your body belt and gaffs
You know how to check the water presser in a truck tire.
You carry a roll of TP and an empty water bottle in the truck
You have used strand to pull out a stuck truck
The heat shrink on your bell wrench has got finger notches in it.
You have welded a 7/16 and ½ inch sockets on the handles of line-men pliers
You know how many bonds per-mile
You know the best cheap hotels and restaurants in at least 6 states
A George Foreman grill is always packed somewhere in your travel bag.
You know the fastest rout to any location within a 1000 miles of home
After you get home it takes your kids 2 days to start calling you dad and stop asking, Who is that man in the living room?
You can recall some of the best meals you had on the road were cooked on a grill in the parking lot of wherever you staying.
I know you guys and ladies out there can think of a lot more to list, but after 22 + years these are a few that came to mind
