2. snips
3. scotch lock pliers
4. 3M splicing kit
5. tabbing shears
6. tone generator/reciever
7. Butt set
8. can wrench (2/16 tool)
9. torque wrench w/various sockets
10. 9in. lineman pliers
11. big standard screwdriver
12. lots of black tape

Pretty basic list but should be a good start. Alot depends on the size of the cable and the enviroment you'd be splicing in.
