i agree with farmer,, its 1 test in the winter time and 1 test in the summer time, usually off the last active off the longest cascade, then they compare the two tests. The cable system has to have these documents at the cable office for the FCC for 2 years (is my understanding). Its based on how many subs you have verses how many test locations you do, also there is a headend tests which prove carrier/noise , color / audio 2nd and 3rd beats 24 hour test ect ... usually tested at the input of the forward transmitter or combined coax location,, hope this helps out
