C. Harold, I'll agree with you with one notable exception:

If you complain, have a better solution to offer to resolve your complaint. I will often blog sites and observe people complain, only to ask them "What would you do to solve this problem?" The usual reply is an attack upon myself.

If you offer an alternative with your complaint, you're not complaining, you are showing a need for improvement and offering such for consideration.

This method will put you in a class higher than Congress or the POTUS since 1964.
